So this Christmas thing. It sounds stupid. You go home and spend obligatory time with your family and let them give you presents and you get presents, then everyone goes back to pretending that everyone else doesn't exist. Yeah, stupid. At least I'm honest and recognize that I don't like my family. I haven't been back in a long time, actually. Nor do I really want to go back.

So, that being said, who is sticking around for this stupid holiday?

I was thinking about it this morning. I don't know how many of you are staying, but we should have a party or something! I was going to bake some delicious brownies or some FUDGE for Christmas, so if we all want to bring food we could have a POTLUCK in one of the multi-purpose rooms or somethin'.

Hello. My name is professor Revan Raven. I am a new teacher here at Kansas State University. I teach two simple classes, which I assure you, should be anything overly difficult. In the morning, I teach a fencing class. Where it will be very hands on. I'll teach and show you many different stances, and fighting styles.

Secondly, I also teach Astronomy which will take place close to evening in most cases. Where I will teach you of your different star systems and planets in this area.

So, here's the dealio.

I've been fail at getting this Karen reaper project going. Now I'm feeling enthusiastic and interested in this again. It's doubtful that anyone is going to be super interested in a crazy chick roleplaying with herself. So would any of you guys be interested in taking up a character?

This isn't going to be a fancy roleplay with an application, organization, and all that jazz. Just writing as characters from fandoms. They can be reapers, humans, magic unicorns - anything that would fit into the New York City setting. If a character is currently being played by someone else, has moved on and passed on their reaper status to someone else, or has been reaped, they cannot be played again.

Stuff I have figured out so far is on walkeramuse's profile. There's additional stuff I was going to use for all my characters in the tags.

Characters I'm playing for sure - Karen Walker (karen_walker) and Xander Harris (reflective). Danny Tanner (dinabox) will come into play eventually.

I haven't decided if I'll play the other characters I have listed on the profile. If someone else wants them, they can have them. Or if someone wants a storyline with them in this, I'll do it.

I'd prefer that all the reapers come from different fandoms. Characters that aren't reapers can come from any fandom. It might be interesting to have reapers interacting with people they knew when they were alive.

I saw a flier for a missing dog today. It was my stray doggies parents, so I unwillingly brought her home. They told me her name is Winny, short for Winter. I miss her :( she really was the coolest dog ever. I'm so sad not to have her here. On a happier note, I have all my presents for everyone finally figured out, including the one I was having the most trouble with. Five days til Christmas :)

I still do not understand what this Christmas thing is, but from I can gather it has to do with presents? I am afraid there are some things about Kansas I just cannot grasp. So, I will be staying at the dorms during the winter break. I hope to do some extra studying on the Tudor era.

OH! I also solved my job dilemma. I am now helping out Captain Hitsugaya, though after those finals there does not seem to be much to do. Also, I somehow managed to have a red pen explode on me. Red ink is very hard to wash off of skin.

So I went back to work today. It wasn't fun limping around, but I managed because I couldn't just keep calling in. Um.. I also ran into a stray dog on the way home. It might be in my room right now. She's white like the snow, she could have easily gotten hit by a car! I wish I could keep her :( she's fluffy and cuddling on my bed right now. She's really quiet too! I bet no one would notice if I kept her in here...

I'm fairly certain that buying more presents for yourself than the people you're buying for isn't ordinary Christmas procedure. But... I needed a new scarf... and shoes... and everything else I bought.

At least I did buy for other people.

just so you lot know i'm not actually dead, just been, y'know nursing a sprain? i totally meant to do that meme thing that everyone was doing, but um got distracted so it didn't happen. guess i could go find it but i'm lazy. anyway who knows.
